Holy Spirit Stuff (2)

Holy Spirit stuff destroys your individuality.
All the Holy Spirit is doing is making you stop taking yourself seriously.
To be spiritually minded means you never think about yourself.
Anything other than abandonment of self is carnally minded.
The Holy Spirit’s function is to make you of value to God.

Holy Spirit Stuff (1)

The Holy Spirit has nothing to do with you as an individual and everything to do with you as a member of the body of Christ. 
The river of living water. 
Guilt is the evidence of carnality. It’s the opposite of Holy Spirit stuff. 
From God’s standpoint, the only act of righteousness is Christ ascending to the Father.

We are fanatics because we see that all men are dead. 
The hungry heart can only be satisfied by Christ and Christ is only revealed by the Holy Spirit. All the intellectual knowledge in the universe will never feed that hungry heart.

Genesis 15 Horror Of Great Darkness

“Lord” means the self existent. 
The promise is there without condition.
The two main enemies of spiritual life are anger and greed.
Anger is the response to being deprived. 
The gospel is preached in the horror of great darkness.
